Our goal

Our goal

Our aim is to research and provide information on genetic engineering, pesticides, endocrine disruptors and other chemicals (xenobiotics) and their impact on biology, the environment, agriculture, food, medicine and public health, whether natural or artificial, intentional or accidental. We will examine the short-, medium- and long-term effects of these products on human health and the entire living ecosystem. This information will be of the highest scientific quality; the Committee works under the aegis of a Scientific Advisory Board which determines priorities according to their potential impact, in relation to available and verifiable knowledge, on public health and the environment.

CRIIGEN ensures the transparency of information by various means:

  • Making the information gathered available (after implementing verification procedures on its own initiative): to its members, to user groups (associations, unions, cooperatives, municipalities, etc.), to the general public via the media, publications, brochures, leaflets, public meetings, conferences, etc.
  • The creation or support of research and analysis laboratories, or subcontracting, for its own investigations and in order to carry out services on behalf of private individuals, local authorities, companies, other laboratories, professional groups, associations, etc.
  • Identifying and closing regulatory toxicology loopholes for pesticides, endocrine disruptors and GMOs that could have an impact on the environment and/or human health.
  • The development of methods and actions to bring about " chemical hygiene", the only way to stem the rise in environmental pathologies.

The Association operates in France, Europe and possibly on other continents, with the possibility of contracts with other existing associations.
